Name: Bastet
Title: Devilish Cat Goddess
Once known as the warrior-lion goddess Sekhmet, Bastet was defeated in battle and "domesticated" into her current cat-like form by way of Pharaoh Tamilah's magic. Now Bastet is kept as a divine pet by the ruling dynasty. Typically, she lounges around the Pharaoh's palace, amusing herself in much the same way as a house cat. Over time, Bastet has become tolerant of people, and her seething bitterness has faded to mere annoyance. Even so, she's easily enticed with treats and trinkets. Bastet has a real weak spot for petting, but don't expect anything out of her unless she's in heat. Fortunately, she's often in heat, and when that's the case, she's a whole different animal!
